Happy Anniversary to My Love!

Yesterday Brodi and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary! We started dating in August of 2011, so this month also marks ten years that we’ve been together.

We’re not big on gifts, so in our typical fashion, we spent the evening making a beautiful meal together, drinking a special bottle of wine, and enjoying each other’s company. Of course Arden was a part of our at-home date night as well! Brodi cooked us lamb on our Traeger smoker barbecue, and it was absolutely delicious!

I could write for days about the love that I have for my partner in crime. We have experienced so many of life’s successes and challenges together, and every year our love grows stronger and stronger. Especially over this past year, we experienced one of the most challenging times that we’ll likely ever go through. But now, our amazing Arden has been home for as long as he was in the hospital, and our family continues to grow in love every single day.

I can’t wait to see what the few years will bring!
