I’m so glad you found It’s a Lockhart Life! This page represents me, Rayel Lockhart. I am wife to Brodi, and mama to Arden, and together, we are The Lockharts. I am excited to share our daily adventures with you, along with the creative ideas I have from time to time.

I began this blog after experiencing the most incredibly challenging, life-changing year of my life. For those of you who don’t know me personally, our son Arden was born in April 2020. With almost zero warning, I ended up giving birth to him in Edmonton, Alberta, where he then endured a seven and a half month hospital stay due to medical complications that arose from his diagnosis. Arden was diagnosed with Escobar Syndrome, and I will share more about that throughout this blog.

Experiencing the most emotionally charged period of our life has led me to live to the fullest. Where before, I was held back by self-doubt, I now feel free to share the true expression of myself with the world.

I can’t wait to share everything from daily outfit inspiration to life as a parent of a medically complex, wonderfully made little boy.
