I’m sure a lot of you have already noticed, but I’ve been working on expanding my blog into a vlog on my YouTube channel, also titled It’s a Lockhart Life. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed sharing through writing, but there are some things that need to be felt through video. I can honestly say that in the past few months, I’ve learned a lot about website creation, writing, video editing, and more. This outlet has created a sense of passion within me, a hobby that I can do anywhere, at any time, and the ability to connect with others when I’m unable to do so in person.
Social media often creates a lot of negativity, but I’m glad that in the past few months, I’ve been able to see the positive side of it. It’s allowed me to connect with other moms and friends and family that I haven’t been able to see for a while. It’s allowed me to be inspired by people around the world, and to see real, authentic women doing their very best in these “unprecedented” times. I think for me, it’s created a sense of empathy and humility. I have a greater understanding of the fact that we’re all just doing our best to live in a way that feeds our souls. I believe that as humans, the best way that we can help each other through is by showing love and kindness as often as possible.
With that said, I’d like to ask you to help me out! So far on my YouTube journey, I’ve had some people share that they’d like me to do a Q&A style video. I like the idea of this, especially since we often get a lot of questions about Arden. I have tried my best to be open and honest. After all, Brodi and I truly LOVE talking about our sweet boy. He is our everything, and we’re proud to share his accomplishments. There are so many things that I can share through writing, but sometimes a video just feels more personal. I also love talking about the other parts of my life that make me who I am. My love for plants, thrifting, and real-life home decor. My passion for nature, acreage living, and teaching. The books I read and the shows that I watch for relaxation time. Living with anxiety and depression, and the daily strategies that I use.
I would love to do a Q&A, and I definitely have a bank of questions that people have asked me over the past few months. But right now, I’d like to ask: what would you like to know? If you could ask me anything, what would it be?
Drop a comment on this post, send me an email, DM me on Facebook or Instagram. I’ll bank everything, and do my best to include as much as possible in my next video.
Much love, and thanks so much for your help!
XO, Rayel
