Easy Traeger Pita Pizzas

March 2, 2021

Brodi and I make these pita pizzas on our Traeger barbecue all the time. They’re so quick and easy to make, and they are absolutely delicious!

Ingredients*:

*This “ingredients” list is really just a random assortment of things that were in our fridge. We usually don’t have a plan for these pizzas, because they’re a delicious, last minute meal. Last minute is how we roll with anything we’re eating lately. Especially during the week when Brodi is working. By the time he gets home and I’ve gotten Arden’s care complete for the evening, we are usually scratching our heads around 8:30PM, wondering what on earth we should eat. [Thank you to the incredible people who have participated in our MealTrain to help us get going since Arden came home!] Also, there are no measurements, because we just throw in whatever we have on hand. And quite frankly, unless the word “copious” is included next to a measurement for grated cheese, I want no part of it.

Instructions:
  1. Preheat Traeger to 375F
  2. Coat both sides of pita with olive oil. We use one of those silicone brushes.
  3. Spread on as much pizza sauce as you want.
  4. Load your toppings! I’m really picky about pizza. So I like certain toppings under the cheese, and certain toppings above the cheese.
  5. Spread all the grated cheese your heart desires! Oh yeah, you were supposed to grate the cheese. But I mean, if you didn’t know that, you are in no position to be making pizza to begin with.
  6. Place pizzas directly onto the Traeger grill for 10-15 minutes. The longer you cook them, the more crispy the crust will be!
  7. Allow to cool a bit, cut into slices, and enjoy!

XO, Rayel
